Permanent praise for a pop star? To commemorate her first Rolling Stone cover, Miley Cyrus got the words "Rolling $tone" tattooed on the soles of her feet. Now, Vanilla Ice has paid tribute to the pop star by getting "Miley Cyru$" written on his hooves. The 45-year-old shared a snapshot of his new body art via Twitter on Wednesday, Sept. 25.
"WORD TO YOUR MOTHER !" the rapper and reality star captioned. "LMAO!" It's unclear if Ice's ink is real (though we can't imagine it is).
Cyrus, 20, has yet to comment on the musician's tattoo. She did, however, cite Ice as a cautionary tale when describing Justin Bieber's career trajectory in the Oct. 8 issue of Rolling Stone.
"He's trying really hard," she said of her pop star peer. "People don't take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play guitar, he really can sing. I just don't want to see him f-ck that up, to where people think he's Vanilla Ice. I tell him that. Like, 'You don't want to become a joke. When you go out, don't start shit. Don't come in shirtless.' But the thing is, I think boys are, like, seven years behind. So in his head, he's really, like, 12."
If Ice's tattoo is indeed legit, he wouldn't be the first famous person to get inked in Cyrus' honor.
"People get tattoos of the most f--ked-up shit," she said. "Did you know Alec Baldwin has Hannah Montana's initials tattooed on him? No, wait—Stephen Baldwin. He said he was my biggest fan, and I told him my biggest fans have tattoos. So he got ‘hm' tattooed on his shoulder. People do f--ked-up shit."
